Today is 26th December, the boxing day. The day celebrated as sports day world over. Countries like Australia and South Africa keep cricket test matches which remain known as boxing day test matches. Boxing day is now being more remembered for its devastating earthquake and ensuing Tsunami of 2004 which claimed over 2,30,000/- lives all over Asia including Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand and India. The earth quake of magnitude 9.3 with epicenter near Sumatra island of Indonesia triggered a tsunami waves up to 30 m height which washed off properties worth billions of dollars in 14 countries of Indian ocean. This Tsunami will go down in history as worst ever natural disaster so far. We have got lots of members from Indonesia, the worst affected country by this tsunami.
