my plans for the new year and for the new year eve are ham, pasta like fettuccine, lumpia shanghai, crispy pata, cake, and the 12 kinds of fruits which are circle. i do have this kind of stuff every new year. and i want to add red wine and chocolates. i prepared also coins, a lot of coins so that the midnight come, we will throw the coins every where. thats a tradition in our family, but i knew some families also doing the same thing. what's for new years eve or for new year?

No preparation for new year for me.. lol =D IT's just like any other day for me, and my life is shorten by another year.. lol =D We dun really celebrate it that big, unlike christmas with dinners and parties etc. New year is the mark of a new beginning, but it's not really so. ALl i hope for is to have a better future ahead and that would be good.. haha

hahahhahaha! TRUE! but you do not mean so much the New Year compared to Christmas right? and even in the United States, they celebrate more in Christmas than New Year. but in our family we both New Year and Christmas, is just that we do have some stuff for New Year the circle things. hahahah

We usually have barbeque and drinking while waiting for the new year. We will then bath in pamelo leaves as soon as the new year arrives. It is believed that pamelo leaves remove all the years bad luck and come to the new year clean so lady luck will keep smiling. Happy New Year to you.

It looks like you're all set for the new year! For us, it would be some dinner at home which I still have to figure out. And then we're going to go to a friend/neighbor's house to celebrate with friends. I used to live in Asia, and I know that fireworks is big there. Not here though. There'll be sparklers, but that's about it.
