Looking at some of your older discussions.

I cannot believe that I posted all of the topics that I did but going back and looking at some of my older discussions that I made, I was either like, "I kind of remember this, but not really, "I never remember posting this in my life, but its there", "I can't believe I ever posted this discussion in my life", or "Wow, I remember this being an awesome discussion." Among many other responses. Do you go back and look at older discussions from six months, eight months, a year or older? What do you think about them when you do? Do you even remember some of them when you post them?

Hello MegaMatt, i get back to my old discussions to check if they are resolved and sometimes i read every single post again and again, to see if i understood it right from the first reading. It was not so long ago when i registered here, only 6 months and i don't have so many discussions from the start, most of them are new, lately i am more active. I will always remember my first discussion, which i think for successful because i was so happy to see so many responds there, reached 30 and i was smiling all the time It was about how long people can eat for 50$ in their country, because i was worried about our budget at home and it was still new for me to plan how long can i stay with the food i have. What was impressive for me is that a lot of people shared personal experience, which helped me a lot.

It is nice to have such fond memories of old discussions. Its always good to get off on the right foot. My discussions at first were not really the best to be honest with you but I think that I have figured out what indeed really over time. It is all about trial and error a lot of the time here at myLot. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I was not good when i started too. After one or two topics, where i didn't have responses i stopped writing my own discussions and started to answer to the others. That's how i learned what to do when i'm around. Thanks for the nice wishes, Matt, great day to you too and Happy New Year, if i don't meet you in other discussion.

We all have to start somewhere after all. Sometimes its at the bottom, sometimes its from beneath the bottom, and sometimes And you have a happy new year as well.

No, I don't remember them at all. I just keep on posting, and replying to other's response. I just look forward to the future, and I hope that I can make my payout every each month. So, I can get enough money to pay my bills.

I think that really does really seem to be a good attitude to have. Still curiosity does get the better of me. As it does many others. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I haven't really started a lot of discussions here so I do remember a majority of them. Most of the time I do remember why and when I posted a particular one but then there are times when I scratch my head and wonder what frame of mind I was in to post something like this. It's really interesting when I do go back and look at my older discussions because it's actually shown how much I've evolved over the years here. My earlier discussions were those generic types and as the time progresses my topics get a bit more personal. It kind of feels like I've opened up a bit to the MyLot community.

I think as time goes on, our discussions do get more interesting and creative. Once we find out what does in fact work. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Greetings :) I believe this discussion of yours really does apply to me. I became inactive here for like six to eight months, when I logged back on, I did go back at some of my discussions. I admit that I don't remember posting in some discussions. However, when I look at the subject matters discussed in them, I have no doubt that I would post something like so. I do however, remember posting a few of discussion. Like my discussion about "Nursery Rhymes", this discussion has stayed in my mind ever since. Now, it is my thesis and I am doing even more research about it. So, it was fruitful and did lead to an epiphany that still lasts up to this day. I actually don't really think about my discussions, I simply read by it.

I think that there are just going to be certain discussions that will stick out in our minds. Discussions that will last a lifetime and should we ever leave myLot for whatever reason, they might pop up every now and again. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I remember all my topics but I still cannot believe how many of them got few or no response. I'm still trying to figure out what makes people respond or not. What is also interesting is how many responses were totally off topic, flaming and just bad tempered! I don't post new topics much now.

That does tend to happen I think from time to time with anyone. Hopefully you'll have some better experiences in the future when posting topics if you choose to. It can take a couple of really bad disasters to really spoil the experience. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hello as i am a fairly new member to the site and only about 1 month old now i do not have enough posts to do this with but i do sometimes however go back and comment on some random discussions that are 4-5 years old but this is only when i am out of discussions or bored as there are no discussions that i would like to answer which is very rarely lol.I dont know what i am going to do when i run out of old discussions to go back to know that would be really annoying lol i would just have to sit here all day waitng for anouther one to appear.

That is an interesting find. I think that really, this website will always be active with new topics. Unless every single member but yourself takes a day off. But what's the chances of that happening. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

It is very interesting to look at what people did post about three, four, five years ago indeed. It just shows the evolution of this website in many ways. I do find myself looking at older topics with interest and when I look at something, a lot of the time, I feel compelled to respond. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

@ wefight.. LOL, Although I have never done so I do know a way.. as I do not think you will ever run out of discussions as another way to search if you have sometime is to go to the above url like this: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2464888.aspx Then change the last numbers to 3, as number 3 is the first discussion accepted and you can move up to this 2464888 and more as you see since megamatt posted there were loads more... LOL... So the first discussion will look like this: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/3.aspx Just thought I share as you seem to great here on myLot. Happy myLotting...

I remember some of them but not all of them. This morning I had a response to a discussion of mine I made several months ago, so until today, I thought that maybe all my discussions have got all the responses they are going to get. I was surprised, as I did remember I made the discussion, but I also thought it was through as far as getting new responses is concerned. I am happy though to realize that users are still responding to them even though they are several months old. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

It is amazing when a discussion does come from the depths. Although there are times where I look at it and shrug. I now remember posting this but it was quite the reminder. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I have only been a member for seven months, and I do not start very many. But I do go back to my discussion from time to time after resolving any earlier ones. Yes I get amazed how many responses I received on each and everyone of them. As I joined on here without any friends and am amazed as to how warmly I have been received. I do remember all my discussions but then I have not been on here that long. I have such a memory that I ca;n remember a great many of them that you too started.

It is amazing how long we can come on a website like this, even in a short time. I just wonder how things will be like if we are here with three years, four years, or beyond. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. I have not really been with mylot tat long really. I have never really gone back and looked at my older discussions. I should really to see if i have had any responses but they are that old i doubt i would have. I am not that good at creating discussions and wish that i had created many more than i already have. I do love to respond to other peoples discussions.

I think creating discussions is really not something that is forever. A lot of people tend to do better with adding onto other ideas. There are times where I am like that. Still when the day does come, inspiration tends to strike. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
