i kind of started little game with my husband. the object of the game is to pretend like some of my stuffed animals are children....lol. i started this because i figured if we could take good care of our stuffed animal babies, we could be at least a little prepared when we have real kids. now, i know stuffed animals are nothing like children, but i have been doing things like using them to practice holding a baby as i have rarely done so with a real baby and i dont want to hurt our baby if we have one.

i am married with my wife for 8 year now and we have a five years old son. i can not say that your idea is not a good idea for we did not try that thing. i guess if you really want to try that there is a doll that you can buy that cries and needs to get change ( i mean diaper change). i seen it once on tv. that would be the best way to practise. even you carry a stuff toy gently it is still different on handling a real baby. but if the game is fun then i guess its worth the try.

thanks for commenting. hm...i did not know that they actually had dolls for that. i thought those were only on tv. i may have to do some research on those dolls. that sounds like an interesting idea. and i never said my way of "practicing" was the best, i just wanted somewhat of a way to practice. also, i dont need to do that as much because i have friends who have a real baby and they let me sort of babysit him sometimes. i am actually pretty good with babies...(i just discovered that)

lol. do you really think it is a good idea? i always thought we were weirdos lol. but you are right. the "game" with a real child never ends (not even after they turn eighteen lol...). but hopefully this will help us with our real future children.
