I prefer eating at a table also. But we don't do that except at Thanksgiving and Christmas. When my kids were young and at home, we always used the table. Now it is just my fiance and myself, so we eat on the couch. I miss those family times.

I would say 90% of the time it is on the couch or a chair. Our table is small and decorative so it just has a cutsie basket on it with flowers.

Eating at the table is best. It brings families together.
