Did you ever owned an old instrument that is still in use today?

I have this old Solingen blade knife or labaha in our language. It was given by my grandfather to my father and then handed down to me before he past away. It is still in use today by me when I shave everyday. Does anybody out ther still use old instruments in their everyday lives?

I have a flute. I used to play with it when I was young. I love music, I enjoy a lot of musical instruments but that is the handy musical instrument I have. It really relax me whenever I'm sad. I used it not everyday , but I talked to it like my friend.
It seems like I'm a little child talking to her barbie doll. That's how I treat my old instrument that I bought when I was 6 or 7 I think. Not to costly but the memory I had with my flute is priceless. They cannot buy my happiness with my flute.

I have an inkstone which is a stationery used for rubbing an ink stick for brush writing ,one of the four treasures of study.It was handed down from my grandfather.Now as soon as I use it it will remind me of my grandfather.
