the water diet

I have tryed this and it seem to work for me. If you drink a glass of water before and after your meal , it will help you lose weight. have youtried this ? What do you think ? What works for you ?

I have read somewhere that it would be good to drink 2 glasses of water upon waking up as this would activate internal organs. Drinking water 30 minutes before meal helps in digestion; one glass of water before taking a bath helps in controlling hypertension; while one glass of water before hitting the sack prevents stroke and heart attacks.

Well, i work as an insurance broker and we receive wellness lectures from medical insurance companies. I got these information from them. Knowing this, i hope we can all apply this to our everyday lives.

Where did you read that ? I never knew that if you drank water before you hit the sack , that it would prevent a stroke or heart atack. But I have heard that a asperin can help preventing a stroke.

I didn't know it was called "the water diet" LOL. I think we should probably be drinking water no matter what - all day, every day. It makes sense though that you feel fuller when you drink a glass of water with a meal or before a meal, though. I don't usually do this, but I try to drink water throughout the day!

Drinking more water is a good thing to do. I am shure I drink way too much coffe , Tea , and other cafenated beverages. Lemone and lime make the taste better too.

Doesn't sound like a very difficult plan. I have heard of drinking water to curb hunger pangs, but not just as filler. Haven't tried it but it sounds good.

Hi crazyjp! Our body is made up of around 65-80% of fluids, mostly water. It is essential that we maintain the water level in our body or else we get dehydrated and our body cant function well. Water diet works, it doesn't mean that you only drink water to live, you still eat a balanced diet, but it aids you to feel full if you drink it before eating, so you wont crave for unhealthy foods. This can make the digestion of food easily, and this flushes the toxins in our body. I drink a lot of water, not to lose weight but to eliminate the toxic elements in my body.

I do it regularly and i believe it works. Drinking water before meals fills the stomach making you consume less on food. And the best time to drink water after meals is to drink it after 3o minutes.

I'm not too sure, I imagine it would just make me feel bloated. Once I tried to go on this diet that said you should eat an apple before every meal, that worked. So I don't know if you're going to try out this water diet but I think you should try out the apple idea first as it promotes a healthier diet in general and you get more fiber.
