Godaddy.com is running a special promotion - buy 1 .com domain and use the promo code NEWYEAR11 - to pay only $1.67. Once you register with godaddy, they keep sending you offers. I also use namecheap(.)com to buy domian names.

I have several domains through godaddy.com. They constantly run specials and you can pick up some great deals if you watch the sales. They also send emails to let you know when a domain is set to expire and they will set up autopayment from your paypal so you don't have to worry about losing your site. Definitely a great place to use.

I got my domain name with Yahoo.com. I've had it a few years now and have always found it very reliable and has ample amount of space for me to upload my webpages, which I can edit on the site or off the site. Uploading is very easy too. There are other sites that supply domain names but I think they all stay quite competitive with each other. Reliable hosting for your pages is what's really important though. _Derek
