How do you make endorsement to your shiftmate?

I am struggling in making endorsement to my shiftmate. Because even though I already made an endorsement thru email still they are still left over for me to tackle. Which I am expecting before my turn. Because all the pending he receives will be endorse to me automatically whether I like it or not. Because I am the closing shift.
Therefore, the polishing of call is all in me. So the left overs will be given to him the net day.
How about you what's your strategy in terms of making an endorsement?

Endorsement is a term which means to continue one's unfinished case/problem of client.
Example: Client called 9PM today we closed at 9:30PM. The problem is unsettled so it should be prioritize the early morning.
Shiftmate or co-workmate which has both duties and responsibilities.

I thin what he means of endorsement is by endorsing unfinished business from am shift to pm shift or lets say if i am working in a hospital and usually nurses work per shift, so what they do is endorse to the next shift whatever it is that they need to do to that patient, like the patient hasn't taken a bath in the am shift because he wants to take a bath in the afternoon so the am shift will endorse to the pm shift that they will still have to bathe the patient. I hope that explanation helps.

Those previous responders should have read the responses before answering because they all asked you the same thing.
I think endorsement is the wrong word here.If you endorse something, you are giving it your personal recommendation, i.e,you use a product, you like it a lot, so you endorse it.
I'm still not sure what you are asking. I understand that you are making recommendations to him as to how to finish a job but there are still matters pending which become your responsibility...is that the problem?
It's very hard to say without knowing what other duties you have. If the shift-mate is being slack you should take it up with your supervisor. I really don't know what else to suggest. The "problem" sounds to be one of your actual duties to me.
Cheers.

Sorry i cant help u much in that.. lol =D I'm not in charge of all those stuffs and will never do those kind of things.. lol =D Maybe what u can do is to send her the email days earlier than what u usually do. So it means u have to work harder to finish up faster, so that u have time to remind her and yet not disrupting your closing.. haha

Hiya syoti,
I know or at least I think I know what you are saying here. Say someone leaves me a load of work they should have done or could not do and it needs to be done very quickly so they might leave you a note asking if you could help them finish it please?
Is that it or am going up the wrong street?
I have been left with others work before and I have had to finish it as well whether I liked it or not. I was not very pleased most times but I had no other Job to go to so I had to work through their work plus my own.
This has happened to me and other Girls working with me lots of times and you cannot complain to anyone really as it´s your Job to see to it that things get done quickly and properly.

I make endorsements to my coworkers by leaving them messages or sending them email as well. Like you, i always get to finish what i have endorsed to them, although not all the times but still there are stuff that are not done by my coworkers. They have valid reasons so i think it's ok. I don't do any strategy though, for i know it's all our work, meaning we will have to contribute something to finish that certain task.
