Happy New Year, Jill. May you have the best one ever. 2010 was good to me in more ways and I am grateful. However today was awful. Missouri was pelted today with tornadoes and straight line winds. We have been declared a state of emergency. People were killed, several injuries and many left homeless. I pray for their families and loved ones left behind. Not a good way to end the year.

We don't have a basement so I stood in a closet on the lowest level of our house. Wasn't too bad here except for the rain and mud that came in the back of the house under a door. The closest tornadoes were about 8 miles from us and they were bad. Homes destroyed but no injuries. The news people did a great job with warnings and the sirens blew about 3 times. I was on my way to meet a friend for lunch, made a u-turn and came back home at the time this all started. Cold here this morning.

I saw that and it's nice to see you on board here...when I heard that a suburb of St. Louis had been struck I wondered if you were okay....how scary! To have tornadoes at New Years! Today here it's so cold it could freeze a well diggers gizzard!

Jill- I wish you the best for the new year. My plans are get this thesis done. I'm currently attending Augsburg and hoping to have it published with their library before the end of 2011. I'm also hoping that everyone has their needs meet and their desires fulfilled for 2011. I'm also hoping to start a local chapter with a group I'm a part of, and publish a few e-books. I'm also hoping my tarot reading clients pick up, that my husband's jewelry business and martial arts school expand, as well as my tutoring. Hopefully it will be a busy year for the best. I never see ther new year as better than the last until it turns out to be one of the best. This New Years just came and I am ok with it. Not depressed nor excited.
