I get so pulled into all the empty promises of websites I have tried so many opportunities where you have a minimum monthly payment and I always end up with a loss I am resolving to not say yes to pay to get paid!

They say there is a sucker born every minute. The idea of making money online does not involve paying for anything. You should never sign up for anything that wants your money unless you are trying to buy something, in which case you aren't trying to "make money". Even if you have a website you shouldn't pay (other than hosting) to make money online. Make sure you research the site thoroughly, you can always go to the BBB online.

Not every company on bbb is ok..I found this out most recently with my former employer.. With the BBB you can get listed simply have to pay about 300+ dollars and poof..you are on. People easily fall prey to sites that promise fast money if you pay only so much a month.

You can look at the review and the rating of the site, if a site only has a couple of reviews it's probably bogus. If it has less than an A rating it is probably bogus. You should still say no to paying to make money, it us an oxymoron.

As I said before, spending money to earn money is not always a bad thing. But you should make sure you are getting a just return on what you are spending in tools and training. Thinking that there is a such thing as free business is what I like to call the "job mentality" If you wanted to start a McDonald's franchise, no one would give you a store for free. Business takes an investment, and persistence to reach your desired goals. It isn't for everyone, but there are people who earn grand money online, and each and every one of them made some sort of investment to do it. BTW, the BBB can't always be trusted. Like Franciscan said, all you have to do is pay the membership fee, and you automatically have a good rating. Furthermore, the BBB has been known to downgrade some businesses' rating because they didn't want to choose the BBB. The best place to look for reviews on business, especially online business, are independent forums such as "The Ripoff Report", where real people post their complaints online about companies. These opinions are more unbiased than the BBB. Still you must be careful with these forums as well. Take care to read the entire complaint when you come across one, and determine if the individual actually put forth effort in the business mentioned, or if they expected something for nothing, and are mad because they didn't get it.

I have a similar situation. I pay more than what I earn. So I kinda made up my mind that I will not incur loss this time. But my real resolution has been to quit smoking and I am happy to inform that I already did that. I also made a resolution that I will not run after money anymore. I will concentrate more on having quality time on the internet and will not worry much about my earnings. I want each day of 2011 to be a lesson for me. I want to be better everyday. A better human being, that's what I want myself to be in this year. I know I can do it. I am strong and sincere enough for that.

lol. Nice resolution. But a better one is to be 100% sure that you will profit from where you will invest. So just research and ask around.
