Hello I like to watch the tv celebrations - it's nice watching the fireworks and then hearing the clock ticking down for the new year. It always makes me feel happy and brings tears to my eyes at the same time, because it's something that's shared by everyone on this planet. I also like to watch the webcams online, especially to see what's happening in new york. But it's also strange when you see other countries whose hours are ahead of ours that are already in the new year.

Hi little franciscan: I would like to do it because those fireworks and all of the things that people do around the world to celebrate New years eve are very exciting and beautiful. Unfortunetly I had to work so I only see how people in Australia were celebrating this day. ALVARO

I watched the new year's eve countdown on tv a couple of hours ago. They also show how different places in our country and all over the world celebrate New Year. There were really beautiful fireworks and everyone looked so happy. During New year, my family and I eat together and just spend our time together.

It's also quite sad that people all over the world will never celebrate the New year together since they have different time zones.

I like to watch new year celebrations on TV. I can see the celebrations of other countries around the globe. Other peoples' celebrations of new year are amazing. Their fireworks are better and full of color. I like to watch fireworks on new year. I would go out of my house and watch fireworks lighting up the sky.

I do watch the celebrations shown on TV, especially those countdowns and firework displays in different countries. But when I started college, I haven't been able to watch these New Year shows as much as before. I just go outside and celebrate with family and cousins with our own sparklers, fireworks, etc. Happy New Year!

Hello littlefranciscan! First and foremost I'd like to greet you a Happy New Year! May you have a prosperous one :~) Personally I'd like listening to my favorite songs in full volume during New Year's eve over watching TV show countdowns though my mom and my brother would prefer to listen to the New Year countdown. I think it's more fun to be at the countdown personally than to just watch it. I think it's just okay for me because I'm celebrating with the other people around the globe. Fun times! (:
