The day after New Year celebration, people are so so so noisy

Hello guys, yesterday i spent really great time with friends, with some wine, lots of food it was really amazing. I could wash a part of the messy after the celebration last night and then we went to bed. Today is my day OFF when i have food from yesterday, so no need to shop, no need to cook even no need to wash and clean, because the guests only made messy some plates, but not more.
I decided to take a break of this busy life, to stay calm, most of the time in the bed. But it looks like our neighbors are o.k. and use the day for cleaning. Nothing wrong in that, i understand them, if they celebrated at home, i know how messy can it be.
From the nearest building one person is throwing little bombs whole day long. 
Last night i couldn't sleep good and today in my rest day, i decided to take a nap in the late afternoon, but how if that guy continue throwing his little bombs from the window in every 20 minutes?
Why people are so noisy around the New Year celebration... Here today everyone is off of work, so they can have a great time in laziness and great moments with their family, they can also go on trip, visit their friends or so on things ... What's the motivation if you stay on the window whole day long and disturbing your neighbors with bombs?

hi suggar here in Garden Grove, Ca in the US we have laws'
against jerks like that shooting off fireworks in the cityl
They do enforce it too so if a jerk like your neighbor does that any one around him can report him to the police. they will arrest him fine him and let him go. If he does it again he gets jail time.And the p lice here do enforce this law. It came about because of two homes that were set on fire and burned down as the owners had gone out of town for the holidays and nobody saw the fires until they were infernos.They were caused by various burning fire works tossed onto roofs either accidentally or on purpose.

Oh great for you that police men take that work serious. We all need to be that way and i hope some day Bulgaria will have same good experience as you have there - learning from your mistakes. I just don't know how long more we will be that way ...
Government is out of the game, always. Of what i read from you right now, you read all posts up and saw what is the reaction of the institutions here and sometimes i think that they are ready to stay someone to die instead of little moving and helping him.

I used to live and work in Asia. And part of the new year celebration was to make a lot of noise and fireworks starting at 12 midnight.
I must admit I was a bit surprised when I got here. When there is not so much fanfare to greet the new year. There is still dinner, but not a lot of fireworks.
I guess it is just differences in culture, as to way some people make a lot of noise.

Actually around midnight it's great Bounce, we all drink a bit and there is no big problem about that, but after the night finish and after the new day start in the late afternoon when people take a rest, just someone to make annoying noises ... Hard for me to get it.

i will definitely be annoyed as well if i were in your position... i will come out from my house and tell my neighbour to lower down the voice if i want to have a rest... i don't like to be disturbed when i want to rest and i think people have to respect other people's privacy as we live in a society... take care and have a nice day...

Some people just take a great pleasure of being a nuisance. I'm not kidding, there are just some people who live to annoy others. It can be quite the headache but that is true. All I want is a little peace and quiet. I understand that there is some noise being made for various reasons. I get that one hundred percent. However, when I get a sense that people are being noisy in a deliberate fashion then we do have just a bit of a problem.

yes, they were so noisy while celebrating new year,
some of them were shouting, and some of them used some fireworks and horn,
to make loud noise. but its ok because we were celebrating this especial occasion...

I agree people are so noisey.My neighbors kept shooting off fireworks. Would not have been bad if they would have set them all off at once but no they had to shoot off a few at a time all night. I am glad you were able to relax today even though the noise.

Well I would be majorly annoyed if I lived where you do. Isn't throwing little bombs out of the window a bit dangerous? What if someone was walking by and it landed on them? This guy sounds like a total idiot. I hope he stops soon. I'd be tempted to go knock on his door and ask him to stop, but that probably wouldn't help. Some people will do things just to annoy other people!

My boyfriend started to scream to him from our window and he stopped few minutes ago.
It's dangerous friend, for sure, but here nobody would do something to change it, even our police mans are idiots, so why they have to disturb themselves with something which doesn't have tragic result for now.
