Just caressing it gives me such pleasure...

I am hooked. I have to hold it. Fondle it. Stroke it. Just a gently swipe and it lights up and gives me everything that I carve. Frankly this little appendage has become a main activity in my life withy all my contacts, internet, calendar, health stuff etc etc on board. I am of course describing my iPod Touch. The Boss calls it my "other p*nis" because I go everywhere with it and love to have it in my hand!!! Do you have an item that you take everywhere and would be lost without?

I can always be found with my Blackberry and my MacBook Pro because they both have the files, information that I need on a daily basis. I have often left home, only to return a few minutes later because I had forgotten one or the other. I can understand how you would do the same with your iPod Touch. I want one of them so bad! I think I will use some of the money I got for Christmas to buy one very soon. I love music, apps, and everything else that Mac has to offer!

I am an Apple addict. We have three computers (iMac 24", Macbook and Macbook Pro 15") plus several other iPods and my Touch. I convinced my work to buy me a Mac Mini and now I don't have to work with Windows products or the machines that they run on at all! My daughter has a Blackberry and loves it.

The advantage with the iPod is that I can put it in my pocket. But I am envious... just a little. The Ipod has two camers in it - one forward and one back!

my iPhone, not that I have any apps on it or anything, but I've been pretty much carrying it for the last 3 and a half years, and, while I was talking to the roomie about not keeping it, she's kind of talked me into it

I think that the apps are one of the best things. I have about 20 and find some very useful.

hi pikey oh my table mate Sandra has been almost swooning ove r the idea of an ipod touch. I do not even have a cell phone but if I ever got an I Pod I would probably love it too. What I have that I carry with me everywhere and would be lost without is my leather shoulder hand bag as it contains everything in it but the kitchen sink. billfold with all my ID cars, mony, kleenix , writing paper, a parcel of pens, letters to be mailed etc etc etc. I am lost without my handy dandy shoulder bag. lol lol.Its like my home away from home. lol lol

I think that many women feel the same Hatley. They carry their lives in their bags.

Those sound really great but I'd never get one. I think about it sometimes but being connected 24/7 to the world isn't very attractive to me. I've often thought how great it would be to have the equivalent of a phone book and encyclopedia in my pocket whenever I like.

I am only connected when I am able to get a wi fi signal. But I do have a dictionary and phone book downloaded.

LOL So, that's what you do when you don't have the iPod Touch in your hands, huh? LMAO!! My daughter won't go anywhere without her phone and my son, either. It really has become an extension of their bodies! She also keeps her Zune close at hand (similar to an iPod) and her Kindle book reader, but the phone is tops. I'm learning to keep my phone on hand, but I can't walk and talk like them. I have to stop to talk on the phone, so I just keep it close by just in case.

I am useless on a cellphone. Can't text and am barely able to make a call. But I can find my way around my iPod amazingly!

I think the various iPod-type items could have a serious impact on evolution of the human species. Could you envision the male species growing a 3rd hand? Or maybe prehensile toes making a come-back?

I have a true addiction to my cell phone. I must have it on me at all times either in my hand or pocket. If I don't have it I feel like I can't breathe. The one and ONLY time I lost my phone I had a panic attck and had to call my neighboe to come get me from the Kmart parking lot. It was bad I had trouble breathing for hours. I truly can not live with out it!

Yikes! That's a serious dependency problem. If I lost my Touch I'd be cross but I don't think that I'd have a panic attack. Do take care.
