I am just curious if anyone writes hubs on hubpage.com. I know that we can add google adsense and every time someone clicks on the add we get paid per click. I just don't know how to get traffic in their. any suggestion??

I started with Hubpages a while back but haven't done much with it so far. I started with Squidoo first and I have more content there but I'm going to start doing more at both sites. Both of them are a good way to set up a residual income that will earn for you every month. One of the great things about both sites is that they help you get traffic. When you make a page, you enter keywords or tags related to your content and they optimize the site for search engines. You can also put links to your content at any of the social networking sites like Facebook, twitter, myspace and others. You can also put links in your MyLot profile like I do. The more links you can place around the web, the more traffic you will get. If you are active at the site, it will also help you get traffic because your pages, or hubs as they call them, might get featured on the site's front page or in their emails they send out. It might take a while for you to see any substantial traffic though. In other words, don't expect much action when you first start making hubs. It may take weeks and 10 or 12 hubs to start seeing some earnings. Once you start getting traffic and some followers though, you will see good activity every month and as you keep adding more hubs, it will keep growing. Good luck!

To get traffic for any website, article, web 2.0 site, video whatever. You must master and apply search engine optimization. That's the only strategy that gets you targeted traffic without too much work. Of course you shouldn't neglect social marketing and such but concentrate on SEO first.
