I have an iPhone 4 that I got for Christmas and I really enjoy it. It works well and does everything I need it for and more. However, my friends have Samsung Galaxies and they seem to work very smoothly and cost less. I already have my iPhone and don't plan on getting rid of it, but I was wondering is the Galaxy is really a superior phone.

What I got to say is that it is all about preference. I also got the IPhone 4 for Christmas and my father has the Galaxy and i always played around with it when he was home and I was very fond of it but when i got the IPhone it felt like I had it forever probably because I have the iPod Touch. Truthfully I cant see myself without an Apple IPhone because it just feels right having it and The galaxy is cool and all but it just isn't an iphone if you get what im saying.

I understand what you are saying. I had an iPod Touch before so my iPhone seems so intuitively easy to use.

If you can afford it then just own both. As for me, Galaxy is better as for now because it provides more useful features and has better OS than the iPhone.

I think it all depends on the user. There are certain things and features that the iphone offers which are not present in the Galaxy. But there are also certain things in Galaxy that the iphone cannot handle. So in my own personal opinion, it all matter with what kind of user are you, the kind of features you like and things you do most often with your phone. When iphone 1 was released, it was also the time that samsung omnia was released. At that time, they were the phones that you can probably compare of.. just like what you are doing now. I did choose the omnia, considering that I think it offers some features that I find more useful on my personal preference.

Since I have never had the iphone, I would have to say the Galaxy S phone. I have the Samsung Fascinate, and I really like it. I can do a lot with it, and that is what I like. I can even post to mylot on it, and I like that as that is one of the reasons I bought it. It doesn't have full flash because the OS is only Android 2.2, and once it is upgraded to 2.2, then it will have full flash. For now, though, I am not all that worried about full flash, as it is still a good phone. Iphone doesn't have flash either, so it is about the same more than likely. I think when it comes to phones, it really depends on the one using it. Some have more features than others. I hope you enjoy your iphone, and have a very good day.
