Filipinos don't have to go abroad.

home-based business - Lots of great opportunities reek online, so why go abroad, especially now that the dollar continually goes up?

One thing that is deeply embedded or perhaps widely accepted by most Filipinos is the idea of going abroad to find employment there. While some are lucky to find good employers, few are often in danger and at risk of losing their family. However, going overseas is not the only option left for Filipinos who want to have a decent living. There are lots of opportunities online. Is this really a viable option?

hi there. oh yeah, you're right. The thing is, we Filipinos have the thought or notion that we can easily attain better life when we go abroad since their currency is dollar. However, on my part, I don't think that way because as far as I know, we can all have better life even if we stay here in the Philippines. Because if we try to see, it's not the Filipinos who are getting richer in the Philippines, its the foreign investors. Should the rich Filipinos try to invest in our own country and open employment for fellow Filipinos, then I think there will be no problem. Earning online is just one option in earning extra cash but so far, I think the extra we earn online isn't enough to support our families. we can actually do different jobs and earn enough.

Yes, I agree with you. However, I find lots of opportunities only that if we can only avail them, then we can earn a decent income for our family.

Online earning is an option to earn extra, but not to support our families. I know there are a lot of opportunities for Filipinos to earn. But the thing is, with the current situation of the country, people opt to look for greener pastures elsewhere because what they earn here in the country is not enough. Yes there are a lot of online money making opportunities. But some of them (or most of them for that matter) are meant for those who were able to study. You gotta have some skills. Or talent. My sister is an interior designer/graphic artist who, when she was unemployed, made tremendous amounts of money online by bidding to design logos for clients. An ordinary worker cannot do that unless he has a knowledge or background with Adobe and Java stuff. Some online earnings involve decent writing. And even if Filipinos are equipped with basic English and writing skills, it takes effort. And of course, access to computers and the internet. We are at the era of poor economy and poor job opportunities in the Philippines. I am not losing hope though. I still dream that one day, the Philippines won't be considered a third world country anymore. There's just really a lot of obstacles to overcome. And one of them of course, is corruption.
