"I can't tell you the joy and the peace, the dream brought to my heart,at last and worth waiting for," my friend told me on her wedding day..Maybe getting married is what waiting for it to begin as a new chapter in our life. Somehow maybe its God's wisdom, if marriage is His will for you, He knows exactly what you need in a spouse. And in His unfathomable wisdom. He knows when you'll be ready. His timing will be perfect.

Don't get me wrong, marriage is a fine institution at the heart of many new beginnings, and the werdding is a fine ceremony to mark such beginnings' possibility; but they DO call marriage 'settling down' for a reason! The chief purpose of the wedding (aside from what YouTube's vlogbrothers says it is---a time for toddlers to dance with grown-ups lol) is to satisfy the parents of the bride & groom that they did a good job with their kids, who are now ready to 'settle down.' And the wedding ... well, the word-history roots 'wedding' in "wager"---that is to say, the bigness of the wedding shows how sure the 'parents paying' (usually the bride's parents) are that the marriage will 'make it past the finish-line in prime condition.'
