Which one do you prefer.....Windows or Mac?

Personally, I prefer Windows. It is simpler and WAYYY easier to use! Mac may seem more professional but for me Windows is the man!lol
What do you think?!

Why Linux is out listed? I want to choose it since i work with tons of servers. :)

Linux is a far superior OS. The only issue is that it is difficult to use for newer users that have only operated a Windows OS. You would need to be somewhat of an advanced user to fully appreciate Linux OS'.

I prefer Window to Mac just because that's all I ever used. Also, a lot more software is compatible with Windows. For security and virus protection, Mac is a lot safer. I personally run dual operating systems on my computer. I run Windows mainly, but at start up I can choose to run Windows or Ubuntu, which is a Linux based OS. Linux is really the way to go but it's a little harder for some people.

Linux based OS' are definitely the way to go. They do take some time getting used to though. You can search for some online and download them different ways. There are a lot of different types of OS' that are based on Linux. I currently have Ubuntu Karmic Koala (don't ask about the names). They also have Jaunty Jackalope.

i don't know in reality i don't like much macos in general i think the best os will be always linux considering it is dafe,free and really stable surely windows is the most famous andused around the world but the great problem is that os can be really slow!!

yes it is good considering that now in the majority of cases it is user friendly relaly simpl to manage you can try a distro you like more and start using it..inamny cases you will find good..

I myself prefer windows, however mac is useful for those in the animation industry, creative fields.

Windows for sure. I hate Mac. It definitely is harder to use. People say that you just have to get used to it, but that's just a waste of time if you ask me. More complicated does not equal better. I don't see why, but it seems that people tend to equate those two things. I've heard that it depends on what you are using the computer for. If you are using it for art purposes and things like that, it's supposed to be better and for browsing the internet, windows is supposed to be better. I mainly use my computer for the internet, so windows is for me. To me, mac= Makes.All.Complicated. I've never liked apple products. I don't even have an Ipod.

HAHAHA That's how exactly I feel lol Mac makes everything more complicated!!
I know for fact it is better in art and 3D works and all these stuff bcuz of its amazing processor (the only thing I like in mac) else, I hate itttt!!!
Btw,I don't have an ipod either :D
