Many of us know the word retirement. To some, it means that we have received our pension fund and sit around doing nothing. To others, it is getting another job because there a lots of bills to pay, still. Some others would be planning to do some small businesses or investments. None of these are wrong. In fact, they are a combination of different retirement elements. For me, retirement means the ability to live life to the fullest. I will still pursue businesses of my own, not working for others. I would want to create multiple streams of income and have the ability to travel and holiday as I wish. Let us not lose the dream of a right retirement. What is your view?

For me, retirement basically means having enough financially to sustain the rest of my life in terms of basic necessities plus having the time to do the things I want to do without having tied down by so called "work". Having said, thus I'm setting up systems that will work for me - system at work, no longer man at work & I plan to retire at 35

There is a saying "When you love what you are doing, you are not working". I feel that I am experiencing this now. I really enjoy all that I am doing in my businesses. Not to mention that I have to travel overseas almost every month. Good for you to want to retire at 35.

I like the saying by others - Live, work and play at the same time. Let my life and businesses be my lifestyle.

to me, retirement should be about writing a new chapter in your life. you should look ahead to retirement as a way of settling down to enjoy life and teach others what you learned those years of struggling and toil.

I retired at 55 over 20 years ago, and started my next job the following day. I was born on the farm where I live now over 77 years ago, and have been farming it since I was 21. Ive worked at 2 jobs at various times, and have never dreamed of retirement. I would be bored out of my skull with nothing to do or focus on. My belief is- if you wanna die young retire at an early age!
