When you are with your friends, do your interactions include much touching - for example, hugging, kissing, roughhousing, or rubbing backs?Would you like to have more of this?

I do not like to be touched or to touch others unless it is a partner.

It has to be someone I don't see real often for me to even hug them. LOL

I am a touchy person. I believe that in this paranoid society that we live in we are often deprived of human touch. When I am talking to someone I reach out and touch their arm or hand. I will hug them in greeting and when we say goodbye. For those I love, I will kiss them affectionately. Peck, peck on the cheek. Life is too short not to show affection.

For some people that just seems to come naturally. It just doesn't for me.

I usually keep a distance and do not touch much, male or female. coming from malaysia, sometimes it may be rude to touch someone as they may not like it...so to be polite, we keep a distance from each other.

It is interesting how these things differ from area to area. What's polite in one society is totally rude in another.

It depends on who the friend is... some of my friends I generally don't touch a lot, besides usually a hug hello or goodbye, other friends I touch a lot and they touch me a lot. I think it has to do with the level of attraction between the people--the more attraction there is between the two of you, the more touching there is. That's my theory anyway. I only have one friend that I rough-house with. I am not sure why; I used to rough-house with a lot of my friends.

I think rough-housing is a guy thing. I don't know many of us gals that do that. LOL

depends on the friend really. hugs, back rubs etc with my best friend. Another friend we are more friendly (a guy) we're more touchy feely to the point where people think we are a couple. OTher friends there's just hug for hi and byes.

I would think a lot would depend on the friend and the closeness of the relationship.

It really just depends on the friend. I feel more comfortable with this kind of thing with a male friend than a female friend.
