about the net speed when logging in mylot

Hi,mylotters,i got a question about mylot.When i post in mylot,the net speed will get very slow,sometimes it just stopped. And i have to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to close the window of mylot.Then the computer will work normally again.Have you meet this kind of problem? What i mean is when i browse other websites,the net speed is ok.Who can tell me is there some setting i can do to solve this problem? Thanks a lot.It really bothered me,especially,after i finished my typing of the post,then it failed.
