A sister of mine is now going on menopausal period and she's not worrying about it. She said this is the best time of her lifer cause she's now free from all that woman's monthly woes. She's taking her time easy and with the help of some herbal supplements, she's coping up with the transition graciously!

Hi. EdnaReyes. That is wonderful!
I wonder if it is really this way or not. Because I have seen many rude and mean woman that are in their menopausal stages that seem like they are irritable. My aunt told me that she has hot flashes during menopause and this makes me really wonder if menopause is something fun and enjoyable to experience.

You are right, this is a phase each of us have to pass, so why not take this lightly? Now I am running 58 now, i started having irregular menses, heavy bleeding when i was just 40, followed by premenopause syndromes, may be it was too early.
I had hot flashes, headache, irritation, getting angry, getting happy easily
But now i am so better, though i have other problems
Thanks for sharing
Happy posting, cheers.
Namastey.

I am in my late thirties and I get the monthly woes except when I am pregnant. For these monthly problems the first day is ever so painful. I haven't gone into menopause but one of my friends has. She talks about the hot flushes which sound ideal. Right now we are in the middle of a cold winter. I am pleased your sister is on herbal supplements to help her menopause.

I do have a while yet before I worry about the menopausal phase, I took note to your discussion as all I ever hear is that it is a very difficult time in a woman's life and I find that your discussion certainly sheds some light to what most consider negative.
So until then I will hope that my transition will not be a dreadful and negative one. I am glad to hear that your sister is coping well and handling something we have absolutely no control taking the initiative to being positive.
