So I thought this was a pretty neat story: http://click.si.edu/VisitorStory.aspx?story=460 Basically a photography student was at a marine mammal amusement park at the dolphin touch tank. He got to talking with a mom that was there with her young son. He really wanted to touch a dolphin and they'd been waiting there for 15 mintues, but the dolphins weren't swimming anywhere near them. Well, the photographer wanted to get a picture of the dolphins, so he put his underwater film camera in the tank to get a picture. When he clicked the wheel to advance the film (which he did underwater), the dolphins heard the clicking and all came to investigate. He then went and found the little boy who he'd talked to earlier that really wanted to touch a dolphin. While standing next to the little boy, he'd take a picture and advance the film, attracting the dolphins over to them. We all know that cameras can really capture magic, but it's really exciting to hear a story about how a camera really made this little boy's day by giving him a really memorable experience!
