Would having a lot of money make your life better?

I don't know about you all, but money sure would make MY life better. My whole life, the only problems I ever had really revolved around money "not having enough of it" that is. It is unfortunate, but the world basically revolves around money. Those that have it...live well, and those that don't...fall by the wasteside. And you know what the kicker is? Is that I really don't ask for much, but because of the lack of money some of the simpler things are difficult to attain. I guess maybe it really was not ment for me to be atleast financially OK. Just my opinion.

not really... money is not everything in this world and definitely will not make me happier... money is just a tool that we need while we are still living in this world to survive... that's why i don't want to be a greedy person... i pray to God just to give me enough to survive and fulfill my daily needs plus a bit of entertainment every now and then... that's all... and i always give thanks for His abundant blessings in my life everyday... take care and have a nice day...

Definitely money is important for us all.Especially in this modern society.Sometimes we can not even move a little without money.I think only a small portion of people can say they don't care about money at all.Among these people, lots of are come from rich families and don't need to care about it.Personally i like money so much, with money,i can let my parents live a better life and let my kids to have good education, and i can do what i like and don't need sell my time to the company to earn the poor amount of money to make ends meet every month. But as one saying goes:money is not omnipotent. There are lots of other things, which are much more important than money.Love,friendship......etc.

Well I dont know about money making life better but having more of it makes life a hole lot easier especially when you have family to support or if you dont drive and need cab fair and bus fair everywhere having money makes certain everyday life issues no longer an issue. We have to keep in mind that there are people who have more money then they can handle and are still miserable I guess it really boils down to a persion being happy with themselves because if a person unhappy inside all the money in the world wont change that. With that said I completely know how you feel its upsetting to not have even enough money for the little things that others who have money take for granted but, money can only make those things easier it dosent guarantee that life will be completely better, and just because you dont have much money now dosent mean that you are not meant to be financially sacure some people gain financial prosperity later in life. lastly sometimes I feel like you like omg I'll never get my life in order, but I always come back to that feeling of hope that lives deep inside, just hang on to that hope and keep praying and god willing your blessing will come soon.

I think that having a lot of money would definitely make your life that much better! When you are financially comfortable you are able to create whatever you want in life and this will definitely keep you content and sane! I have so many plans, goals and ideas that I would like to achieve if I was lucky enough to have more money than I could count! They say that money is the root of all evil, I don't think this is the case. Everyone is different and will tend to handle their finances differently. There are those in this world that love to give and help others and they have so much money, this is very admirable. I play the Euromillions lottery on a weekly basis and it's always been my hope that my numbers will come up at some point, I will keep the faith as it were! Andrew

I'd be really happy if I had a regular income to live on without having to depend on crappy jobs or, worse, other people. I don't want any luxuries, just the basic stuff (food, decent clothes), but the most important thing is the freedom money brings. The freedom to do whatever you like with your life and not waste it on doing something that you hate.

Money will definitely make my life better. It is now the most important thing in life but it is, I must admit, important. Having a lot of money will make life much convenient and it will lessen my worries. We are doing okay right now and saving a little gradually. We are expecting a baby mid this year and we want the best for him / her.

Congrats! On your in pending birth. I totally understand how you feel. I always wished I had just a little more money, but since I had my daughter, finacial security has been my biggest concern. It takes more than love to raise a child, and I want my child to have a good life, and unfortunately that's going to take money.

Money does make the world go round. No matter what angle you view it, money just has its role in it. I'd definitely have a better life if I had enough money to make my living situation more comfortable than I am used to. I believe that it is everybody's wish to be rich because everybody just have this things he/she wants that he/she thinks would make him/her happy or well with life. Though, it can be said that true happiness cannot be bought, the ways to it would probably require paying in cash.

I agree as my household is in that same boat. We never have quite enough of it to get by. It's difficult. We are above poverty level thank heavens but still seems to be never enough. Since your original post there has been some political drama in a few African nations that bear oil so guess what that means gas goes up, groceries go up, and most everything will rise. Our paychecks will not rise to compensate for this so one must make cuts. However, if there is no more to cut in your lifestyle then what does a person do? I wish the economy would take a spin in the right direction instead of taking a dumper every time you turn around.

Hello Naylani, I would think so for me. Being single parent with two children in college is not easy. It would not have to be a lot $100,000 would do me just fine for a few years and that I would not have to work a second job etc... gosh that would be like instant vacation all year round (lol). Yes, i know those who have seem to waste or not know what to do with it and spend it like there is no tomorrow. We can dream of this day. It may not be far I hope. Thanks and have a great night Sincerley Unique16

We too dream of a $100k income as well. Shoot even half of that would be sufficient. I just don't want to have to worry so much about paying everything and on time.

Yes, I am very lucky to have an amazing relationship with my husband and my family and I have a baby and a toddler so the only thing in life I want as money so that I can have more children and also so I could quit my awful job.

I agree. I would of liked more money so we could have had either more kids or just a larger home to more adaquately house everyone in their own room. But one has to be thankful sometimes for what they do have instead of what they wish they had.

yes, right. money can control everything and can close the minds of men from all around him. so that people do not appreciate that they have received and they only think of money only.

No! Well, yes; if it were money that I earned or that SOMEONE (not 'a system') freely gave. Because money is the OVERFLOW of an abundant market---the money which people use to build NEW markets which overflow MORE money which MORE people use to create MORE new markets which make MORE OVERFLOW, which ... etc.

My feelings are that now with no money my only problem is no money but if I had money then I would have problems I don't have now. Theift, friends and family trying to live off you, not to mention the fact that with more money comes more headaches in managing that money and wills always wondering if the love of your life is with you cause they love you,. I think we all have problems rich and poor. and if we solve one problem another one of equal or lesser value would pop up. I only want enough money to pay the bills mainly because too much more creates too much temptation to be bad.

I think so, because I'd spend it wisely. I hate squandering and have little interest in material things. I was comfortable as a kid because my dad had a good job. And while i'm still OK...I eat every day and have a place to sleep, I'm in permanently saving/thrifty mode like many/most people. I'm an artist so I'd invest in things that would advance me artistically, which I can only do to a very limited degree today. Yes, it would make my life better, more freedom, more choice, yes. But you'd not catch me investing in fancy cars or jewels! Maybe a few more clothes though. Like, I've only got one pair of "good" shoes. Still at least I have shoes! I count my blessings; and would continue to do so if I had money.

I don't think I would change any but I would be more happy that I could pay my bills easily and not worry about it so much all the time. You are absolutely right Money is not everything! I don't ask for much in life either and I think some of the things in life that are free are the best things to have!I have had a lack of money for a long time but I know I can not fix that kind of situation and just keep my head up and try to be happy with the way things are. Have a good day!

Yes having lot of money can make my life better, Money has the "power" of everything, can buy anything you want, can go places you want to go, sometimes can buy people but it doesn't mean you won't encounter problems.

Nice question you have there Naylani. For me, Money indeed will make our life better. We could buy our important needs and if we have saved more, we can buy some leisure things. Nowadays, money is what all people thinks about. When you tell me that you don't need money to be happy, I'm sure you are lying. For the best example, here in myLot. What is the reason why we can access myLot? It is because we pay money for the internet right? Why are we in myLot? To earn extra money from it. Whatever is your answer with these questions, it will still include the word MONEY.

Money ar emaking better in all the cases but the happiness is an other story.Money makes your health...etc.But money can't buy happiness or real friends that help you when you are in a "pit".
