Is there something wrong with the referral links?

Hi guys, Do any of you have this problem? I posted my referral link on a blog I'm starting. To test it out, I logged out of my account and clicked on the link, expecting it to bring me to the sign up page referred under my username. Oddly enough, it only brings me to mylot.com I've tried clicking on other user's referral links, and it redirects to mylot.com and nothing more. Take note that I WAS logged out of my current account so that's not the problem. Am I missing something here?

It is correct. You will not see your username in your referral link once you reach myLot but whoever uses it WILL be in your dowline as your referral. If you use Chrome (I am not sure if it is the same with other browsers) and you point your cursor over the link, there is a message in the bottom left of the screen, telling you which site you are on and THERE your name is visible.

Yes that is the correct sequence. Log out. Open a page with your ref link. Point your cursor over the myLot URL in your browser and even though your name is not in the browser, it WILL appear in the message at the bottom of your screen (in Chrome). Or just go to my profile and test it there. There is a sign-up link from one of the myLot flyers there. Point your cursor over the word 'HERE' and you wil see that my name appears.

I thought the same thing at first, I had the same question. I signed up with someones referral link and it redirected me to mylot, but still when I logged into my account later on I saw that I was a referral of that person, so it does work! The person signing just doesn't see he is your referral.

Yes indeed that happened, So there isn't any problem. The problem is if they decide to come to the site later on then they won't be your referral. I think that problem should be fixed. Maybe mylot wanted it to go that way?

Yes, it should work as it is supposed to. It just does not look at it. Trust me, people have signed up at my referral link when I have posted it elsewhere. Now granted, signing up is all most of them have done. But that's really beside the point. Still it is working as it should, at least as far as I know at this moment.
