I don't really know I have never tried it because I guess first of all I am married but when I was single I never thought about it because I watch too much television as to where their are a lot of weirdos out there and you never know who you will be meeting with for example have you ever seen the craig's list killer? That is a true and horrifying story about on line dating to me it just isn't safe!!If I was not married I would not even consider it! So stay safe and take care and have a nice day!

I don't see anything wrong with it. Some people don't have the time or they are too shy or some other reason and so they don't get out very often, so the only way they can really meet people is through the internet. I have never used an online dating site, however, I have made a lot of friends through myspace, facebook, myyearbook, and other social networking sites.

Dating online has positive and negative things on it. Positive , it can make you a lot of friends and possible relationship. Negatively, as you had said, lies are the main faults of this thing. If you're a risk taker, then do it. If you have doubts,better leave it off!

I think this idea is completely a nonsense. Because all the ppl will lie even about their name. Fake name, fake identity, everything they tell is a lie. I remember, one of my friend used to do online dating. She became friend of a guy. After two days of chatting she came to know that person is not a guy!! She is a girl!!! Just imagine...I mean are ppl crazy!! Cant even tell properly their gender??? I have never been to this sites. But have seen my roommates to do.

See that's the problem with online dating,
you never know if the person really exist.
Maybe you fall in love with the profile
(I know some people who did before they even met the person).
And than the person isn't what they expected him or her to be that would be really disappointing. Even more if the person was fake.

I think online dating is very useful for many people because it saometimes helps shy people get in touch with others and express their ideas and feelings easier.I did online dating and it was a good thing for me.

That is true,
But the problem is those shy people most likely don't put the right information on their profile and some do. And maybe the people who have true information are disappointed because of this.
Also never experienced any fake profiles?

I think it's the epitamy of laziness.
Too many people try to suck the joy out of life. Some of the best things about dating is getting to know someone in person. If you can't see a person's response, how will you know it's genuine? Don't people still enjoy being surprised? I don't want to know everything about a person before I meet them. Also, it seems strange to me that anyone would care how much someone makes to categorize them as a possible match. Love isn't about money.
I have never used online dating. I met my fiancé in the " tangible world ". We have a friend who has had bad luck with many sites, LOL MANY. So that's how I know a little about them.

Online dating is not a bad thing.The bad thing in online is that everyone could be anything he want`s.In online you must be smart enough to smell flase people.I meet my wife online so i think that`s not everything just black and grey in online dating.Maybe it`s just luck.How really know`s?
