Can you fall in love online?

I have been friends with a girl that i met online for 5years. We are quite close Online... we are sometimes like boyfriend and girlfriend but at a certain limit. We can talk hours and hours and still skype for hours and hours.
This seems great... but in fact, it only starts to become complicated. We never met each other and the girl told me that she is confused with her feeling. She likes me a lot but cannot be sure of her feeling.
Is it really possible that her feeling is truly real? and oh yes, she has a boyfriend!
What are your opinions about this situation?

How can you said that you're fallin love while you don't even meet her.
Both of you meet each other online but that's really different with real life.
When she said "cannot be sure of her feeling", that's right and you should think like her too.

I guess falling in love on the person that you don't meet is impossible because when you fall in love it is based on what the person is, I mean his/her attitude, her feelings towards you, how she/he acts in your presence, how you handle yourselves when you are together, how do you interact with each other. Even if you spend hours and hours in the internet, its just so easy to tell lies because she/he cannot look directly in your eyes while you talk and you'll never know if she/he is serious about what you are talking about.
