The ICC World cup 201 is just a few days away as Aus will begin there defence for a 4th consecutive title and there 5th overall, such has been the Australian dominace that they have not lost a World Cup game in the last two editions.......Can somebody finally stop them.
India are likely to go into the tournament as favourites and look in ominious form, They will be hard to stop. Sri lanka have a well settled team and one of the tournament favorites, South Africa a complete team no weakness, but will they win in the sub-continent.. pakistan as always unpredictable and in controversies but can they fight against all odds and surprise the cricketing world once again?England are in teriffic form as well but like RSA, Can they win in the sub-continent remains the question.
West indies and new Zealand are struggling but good teams and i think that both have a outside chance,more so the westindies. bangladesh and Zimbabwe will be looking to make an impact given there spin heavy bowling attacks.
Should be a really Exciting tournament.

Hi,
When have not India gone to the game without being favorite after 1983? And have they ever come up to our expectations? Every time we relax with words like - oh, oops and still some other exclamatory words.
This time all eyes are on Sachin for this would be his last world cup and in a way he is determined to bring the cup home. But as we all know cricket is not one man's game.
If Sachin gets support from all departments there is no doubt that India would make it to this time. But would other Nations like Australia and England be sitting idle?

It's true that india entered all the world cup games as favourites but shattereed the hope of it's fans on later stage, but this time i think that with sachin all the players are in good form, and the most best thing is that this time it has an advantage of home country, so i once again as everytime with full hope believe thst we wil be the winner. HOPE

Can India do it again ! It was India that stopped West Indies from winning their third consecutive prudential cup. Can they do the same to Australia too ?
What is certain is that Australia will lose its crown this year.
The winners could be from India, SriLanka, England & South Africa.
Logically speaking, due to the long list of stroke makers & spinning all-rounders, India has an edge over other countries. It will be interesting to see what kind of affect SA speedsters have on sub continent pitches.

Teams with more spinners (even half decent will do)will have a clear advantage over pace heavy attacks, pakistan, India, Sri lanka, Bangladesh,England to some extent new zealand have this base covered, SAfricans have to look another one to partner botha. bringing back vdm will not be a bad idea. have no idea what the Oz side will look like.
