I'm what most people would probably call an advanced computer user. My family and friends almost all come to me for any computer problems- i was on the phone for three hours assisting my sister-in-law fix her new computer last week. I'm really wondering if there would be a chance for me to "advertise" myself and be able to assist other people with problems and make an income from it. Do you mylotters think this is a plausible idea and what would I have to do for this to happen?

That would be a great idea! You can actually start with creating a blog about computer problems so that people will know more about you. You can also try the freelancing sites like Odesk, Freelancer, Desklancer, and others since a lot of contractors will be looking for experts like you. You can also do it online via webcam.

It's best to work for a tech support company first to know the ropes on how to build a home business such as this.
