Do you wish India to get divided more? we are already having many States!

Instead of getting united and solving the problem, why the people wish to get divided??
is it only the political game going on? or does the normal public wish the division.
I think our nation is already having many divisions and dividing further will only help the politicians and not the common people.
now AP is in the edge of a division, Telagana is the new state that some people are wishing to have.
do you think the problems facing by the people in Telagan will be solved, if they got new state??
if there is problem in administration,or avoidence for telagana people, that should be solved, instead of that why people go for division.
and in that division, there is a cold war happening for the Hyderabad, the present capital of AP.
the divided AP and the Telagana wants the Hyderabad.
otherwise it will be a union teritory,
so what is your opinion on this current issue??

Hi Venkit,
People dont want a divided India. It is the politicians who lure the people into their words and get to the seats. They use the people and it is really shameful of them.
I dont see any better aspects of divisions, but they would have soon 50 states or maybe even more - as long as we the people dont realize that they are being used nothing is gonna work dear.

ya its the rubbish politicians dividing the nation and eating the resources.
its the after effect of the poor political goverenance lead the telagana people to ask for new state, but that too is very much politicaly influenced and not the by the majority common people.
ya its shame full to see that people in a nation is fiting to get divided.
no doubt politicians will soon make the half century in the number of states.

Hi venkit,
First time India divided and we became India and Pakistan and now seeking further or micro division within the Nation.
Already we have had Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh. Now Telengana on the making.
Why are people demanding separate state? Is it to be able to rule themselves? Or they want power in their hand? Thisis an important question.
If you are in the same state you are not strong enough to contribute to the interest of people for you are not capable of that and now downsizing your state you would capture the power button and exercise it on the people,God knows what way.
In my opinion we need no more division of the country.

Unfortunately, it is not the people who want or think of division. We as common people are too occupied in meeting our own ends on the daily life... I think it is the politicians who lure us making false statements.
Going by what the nature and scope of population we have at Telangana, or Jharkhand or any other that got divided, you would find that majority are illiterates and poor people. (Though this is not expected to be true for Jharkhand and Uttaranchal as they are supposed to be richer places given the industries and Foreign Tourism) but the stats reveal the facts. Now these are the prime victims that get lured. And it is always late that they and others realize as the damage starts when the mere thought - we should be separate state gets in

ya we got independence after a division, from there onwards the division is continuing.
actually people dont know what they will get if they get a seperate state?
i am sure they will not get any good things by having a seperate state.
only the politicians and the the family members and the friends of these politicians will get the benefit.
common man will be always common man.

Dear friend,
I feel its a part of political game of those who want something from those people. The united we are the best the strength is there. May be who knows in coming future if all states demand this. I feel there will come a time if division comes, a State may ask for a separate country. That let to the old story of dividing of Pakistan and Bangladesh. These countries could have been states of India. No war could have been occurred with a country like Pakistan.

I strongly oppose this division which does no good to telangana and Andhra regions!Sharing the city i lived in for years makes me grrrrrhhhhh.Hope there would be no partitions which can bring in a big blow to either regions in terms of economic growth...irrespective of hyderabad being a common capital!
The central government should think of those fcuking leeches(corrupted government officials) who are sucking blood out of the poor ones than to worsen the situation by dividing india further!

British divided India on the basis of religion, we divided India on the basis of language. According to me the basis on which the current division is being done is only political which is wrong. If at all the states have to be divided it has to be only on the basis of administration purposes. So I don't think the question is not whether states should be divided or not but the question should by why we have to divide a state, what are the pros, will it benefit the people...

ya after independence we divided the nation based on the basis of laguage for better administration.
but the division has beeen increasing and there was not even a single case where two states got united.
after this 50+ years of independence we are having 28 states, so after 75 years of independence we will make it 50, thats what we can expect.
the poor political game is always on and the common man is always kept behind, no one cares what the wish of the poor people.

i don't still know why the people don't understand the problems they are going to face before and after a separation like lack of admin, people resources, infrastructure and many other problems?? And second what are they going to achieve by separating themselves??Are they going to earn anything..nothing.So why??i think the reason for all this is that the people are already divided by the language,area and already existing states and are dancing to the tunes to the tunes of the dirty politicians who want separation as they can become the rulers of the new state, and claiming to be their Saviour and all that rubbish. all i say is that if we people become united among ourselves, there will no need for any separation at all.

ya surely its a huge rubbish to divide the state, and then making fight for the capitala city hyderabad, and so on.....
the poor people do not know that they are not going to get any advatange due to this division, they simply belive on the words of the politicians.
the dirty poltics is making the Indian nation worst.

i'm not an indian and i don't live in india... but i never like the idea of being divided... like you say, by being united, we can solve a problem together... but if we are divided, we will be weaker and can't solve a problem... and division is what make people and a nation fall apart as well... take care and have a nice day...

My personal opinio is that such division should be stopped.First beating up of non-Maharashtrians in Mumbai then division of states.Why cant people understand that the more number of states, more is the expense of governing the country and the less development..I guess we will never learn from our mistakes..

the division will bring one more chief minister, cabinet ministers, bring more and more expenses as you have said, all these money is the money from public, not from politicians, and these politicians will simply enjoy the power of ruling and having some bribe too.
