Triond Earnings : It's Pathetic

I have been writing on triond for quite a few months and the earnings are pathetic. I have calculated that I am basically getting just a few cents per article. Since I do not time for promoting my articles I think online writing is not for me. What are your earnings at triond ? Apart from some very high quality writing sites like suite101, factoidz etc, do you any other writing sites that pays better?

I am also a member of Triond for over a year or more and I alsready have more than 20 published articles. But, like you, I do not also promote my articles there. It took me two months before I can reach the payout of $.50, well, I earned a little over that now but never reached a dollar.
I do not know how others do it there but ,for me, I think it is very difficult to reach the payout in due time.
I am a member of another site which really earn my articles a decent amount. And I think it is possible to reach their payout of $5 a month. I haven't got paid yet because they had problems with the third party before, so , basically, they are starting all over again with the payment scheme.

This article writing sites would go better for those who really knows how to write, but if you're not one of them, then it's time for you to find another ways to make money. :)

I know how to write good articles, however it's my experience that without promotion it doesn't pay well at all. Between a mediocre article with great promotion and a great article with little promotion guess which earns more, yes the mediocre one. You are right, it's time to look for other avenues.:)

maybe you there is not just that like Triond only site that can release your writing skill you might try other serious publisher to get more attention of course not only making some article but also interesting story fiction or non fiction

I have written 5 articles so far, but I have only 6 cents there from this. I have seen that there are members who are very satisfied with them and even make passive income from Triond. How they do it, I don't know.

I think it's depend upon promoting the articles really well, plus doing keyword research etc. But still I would say, the way Triond and other writing sites entice users by saying earn money by just publishing articles is quite deceptive.

I was about to join Triond. I am glad that I came across your discussion first instead. My lot is very easy! Just think of anything, and everything, then start typing. Coming up with articles is time consuming. I feel free to just say what I want here, of course I follow the guidlines and rules which is not difficult. Have fun and enjoy the site.
