Sooo, has anybody marveled at this trending, amazing true life story of Ohio's homeless man Ted Williams? This a.m., this man has run the tv circuits with his "golden voice"! Panhandling for money, he was approached by an employee of an OH newspaper and, his life began again!! Wish I could link this amazing story, however, rules are rules. This story makes me think of the once great Whitney Houston who, in my opinion, threw away her golden voice!! Would it be mean of me to say that perhaps such "gifts" should be temporarily transferable ... I mean, I think being blessed with such a voice, I'd be forever very well off taking the best care of it!!

...Hi gladys, I love it, I just wrote a piece about this man who speaks with such clarity and distinction. He now has a home, how great is that getting off the street? He is also going to be doing promotions at NBC for their MSNBC new slogan "lean forward". I just love this story and the man who stopped and got him to speak then put it on You-Tube should be given credit for his humanity toward the man and his curosity as well, he helped to change the man's life. I think it is alright to put in a link. Others do. Might have to start a new discussion. Take care.

...Hi again, I hope that he can take it all in stride. Going from collecting coins on the street and being homeless to a brand new public, in essence, job can be a bit overwhelming even for people who have not been addicted to any kind of substance. I also hope they let him do his announcing job without any constant reference to how he came to be there. Some people can be snobs. If you get my drift. Take it easy. Oh see, I had no idea that was a stipulation for linking. You just taught me something new. Thank you much.

I'm so still a babe in the woods here ... trying to find my way around! Yes, I get those who are such snobs .. they actually need to publicly feed off what they've done for some less unfortunate person as long as possible. I wrote this poem many years ago .. I think it's all too relevant: Blessed To quietly give, to quietly share without feeling or thought of loss is that one who is blessed. The truly blessed receives quiet joy .. quiet peace.

Hi artistry!! Mr. Williams was again on NBC this a.m.,with Meredith Viera (ck sp) .. with his mother who seemed to be such a lovely person. She indicated that they had not communicated for about 10 years. In many words she said that she hopes her son does not go back to his old ways! He stated that he would stay engaged with a wonderful NBC psychologist he had just met.. who had given him what he considered profound advise! This is a lot being bestowed him at the speed of light. I hope earnestly that he will take it easy and handle all this attention well. I attempted to link an article initially ... the rules note reminded that only members with a 500 ranking (or something like that) are allowed to link. Take care.

Yes, he is lucky that he "still" has a great voice in his venue. He stated this am on tv that what with all the "burning stuff" he poured down "God" did not take away his voice!! As for Whitney, according to most reports, she has lost her voice .. that is tragic and very sad! It has been stated that concert goers abroad have been so disgrunled at her performances, they have demanded ticket refunds. I still love her and wish her all the best ... but, but I sure would like to have such a voice transferred to me ... even if it's on loan until the rightful owner recovers!!! ;)

The story about Ted Williams was very touching and it goes to show that God answers prayers. I am happy that he was able to overcome his addictions. It is truly a blessing for him. As for Whitney, it is sad that she no longer has the golden voice. Blessing to Ted Williams.
