Do you think your living standard has improved or decreased in 2010?Well,i think in my country, the prices of almost all goods have risen in 2010.So everyone thought their wallets get thinner than before. Is it because there are fewer goods than before or is it because the government put too much paper money into the market? How is the situation in your country? Do you feel more strain in your household finance?

As the days go by the prices of everything will certainly increase, thats the truth. But by how much it increases thats the main thing which affects us.Cant deny the price rise all over the world is affecting us but we some how cope with it and start adjusting to it that's really an unusual thing we adapt to every thing in the world the climate, the government, the oil price increasing, the petrol price increasing we just shut our mouths and adapt to it what else can we do?!!

Well, yes, the thing we ordinary people need to do is to try to adapt to the changes in the world.

Here in our place, the new year is welcomed with fare hike increases, oil price increase and worst of all, no plan for salary increase! My family has to make changes on our daily expenses since most of the money will be eaten up by fare increase. Thinking of new ways to save to make both ends meet!

I think the worsest thing of rising prices is that our savings in the past is shrinking. So it seems people who tighted their belts to put the money into the banks are fools. But on the other hand,we have to save some money in the bank for the rainy days.So sometimes i really don't know should i save or not.

Expenses have gone up without commensurate increase in income. This has lead to strain on the household finances. We have to do with the necessities and forgo any small luxuries.Food expenses have also risen.

My living standarads have risen because have got a salary hike recently. And still market prices are ok for me. So regular household things are fine as per as their cost is concerned. By this year I want to buy a home at any cost. That is my target. I am working outside my hometown. Here I was previously staying in hostel. By this year starting, I have rented a fully furnished flat and have shifted here. But yes...on some household things I always try to spend less money like bags, shoes. Because I know after somedays I am not gonna use it.

Just as you said,I think we should refrain from buying something we not really need to save money, then we can buy the things we need urgently.
