Yes, I do that sometimes- when my friends are with me- they talk a lot so I use my earphones... But I don't thin kit helps though, I can't concentrate on what I am studying and start singing along.. Well, it depends on the person anyway.

Definetely you may not concentrate at that time but listening to music gives you soothing relief and refreshment, which then helps you to do your work with complete concentration, according to a survey while listening to music we make our brain to concentrate completely on the beats, and the lyrics this excercise helps in improving concentration. you can try it....

It all depends on you. Personally speaking I can only study with music if its chill background music. Some music is too distracting for me to multitask with. But i do know people who listen to intense music while studying and have had beneficial results. In general, id say it all depends on you.

i agree with you. the type of music we hear reflects our attitude and positiveness, people hearing soft music like classicals are soft in nature than one who hear hard rock, music refreshes the brain and i think also stimulates positive energy.

Dear friend, At times it depends entirely upon my mood. I do listen to music and study at times. But I much concentration while reading in silent atmosphere, usually late night. Moreover I like to read other items that is not related to my studies and listen to music.

Good Day! I can't study with music on the background because I can't concentrate. I end up singing and listening instead that's why I don't want music on the background.
