Do you skip breakfast?

I had the habit of skipping breakfast until I got sick. My doctor said it's the meal that should not be skipped cause it's the first meal of the day and our body has been starved for a longer time. Are you a breakfast skipper too?

A lot of the time, I do, I am afraid, because I prefer to sleep in instead of getting up early to cook. Not a good habit, I know. I am trying to get better at it!

Every morning I get a healthy breakfast, with an optimal combination of carbohydrates and proteins that I provide energy during the day.A word from our elders said that morning o eat like a king, lunch like a commoner, and dinner like a poor man!

I don't eat breakfast because I usually wake up at noon. I only eat breakfast when I have to wake up early for school/work. But during days off, I don't eat breakfast. Even if I have to wake up early for the day, I would eat breakfast but I can't eat too much. I find it hard to eat in the morning because my stomach can't take much food. Also, I'm not fond of breakfast food. Ham, bacon, eggs, and so on, don't appeal to me in the morning. My brother once took us to a restaurant with breakfast buffet and I didn't like the food there.

Yes i do skip breakfast as i never seem to be hungry in the mornings when i get up.I feel like if i eat in the mornings, i feel rather full as well as sick, i think that maybe due to the fact that i eat just before i go to bed and there for it makes me not hungry in the mornings.

I never skip breakfast, although when I wake up at 6 am to go to work I simply cannot have a big meal as it is recommended in the morning, but I do eat something before I leave.I can't work on an empty stomach and I realize that skipping breakfast would be really bad for my health,so I hope I will never do that.

I don't skip breakfast intentionally, but I do have to be content with just a cup of coffee some mornings when I got up late and had to rush to my work not to be late there. Yes, I certainly agree. After a long night, the body needs healthy food to be energized for the upcoming day.

Good day ednareyes, I used to skip breakfast a lot because I just wasn't hungry in the mornings. I would have to be out of bed for a couple hours before I could eat. But I have learned to eat breakfast. It can be a learning process. Now I eat breakfast every morning because if I don't I don't feel good. By the time I get to work I would feel like I was going to throw up. I always feel sick when I am hungry, I get the shakes and I sweat and if I put off eating I will get a really bad headache. I now always eat breakfast and it has helped me a lot. I don't get burned out by mid morning and I don't feel sick. I eat the same thing every morning for breakfast. I eat oatmeal with fruit in it instead of milk. I find that oatmeal sticks with me longer and keeps me feeling full till noon time. Cheers and happy mylotting my friend , chris

Sometimes. When I skip breakfast, I usually drink milk. That's enough till lunch time. When I was a kid aged around 14, I used to go to school without breakfast. I only had a glass of sweet tea and a little cake.

No, never, As much as possible I always eat breakfast before going anywhere. I definitely agree with your doctor that it's the most important meal of the day..since you haven't eaten for 7 or 8 hours..

In the past yes but now no. I may consider doing it again in the future. I just love the feeling of an empty stomach. I can't concentrate well when I feel something inside my tummy.

I read this a lot of times and I know it is a common fact. I often have a hard time to eat breakfast because I oftentimes don't have the appetite for it early in the morning but lately, been trying to have breakfast by buying sandwiches in a nearby grocery and drowning them with coffee. Been doing this for the past week. The only thing I fear is what should I do when I get tired of doing this over and over again during work day.

What the doctor said is right.I have breakfast every day. Here, there is a pet phrase:breakfast must be nourishing, lunch must be full, supper must be less.I think there is some scientific reason in it.

Never, even it it is a small simple bowl of cereal. If I ever skip eating in the mornings I feel so weak and faint by lunch time. It is like starting a car without gasoline. LOL..

I am a breakfast skipper. I end up sleeping till the middle of the day so I don't eat breakfast. When I get up I will eat lunch. I have been told by doctors it isn't good for me but it is a hard habit to break.

It depends whether there is food on the pantry or not. Normally, I don't eat breakfast - a cup of coffee is enough for me. However, I might be enticed if there is food on the table or something in the fridge that I can cook. Also, depending on my workload, I tend to eat breakfast or brunch (in the mid-morning) to help me tackle all sorts of things to be done within the day.
