Here in the world we live, there are lots of people, and every single person is different from the other ones.
But there are some people you can classify together.
There are "normal" people, there are rockers, metalheads, happy people, unhappy people, emos, respectful, disrespectful, well, there is a lot of people, but my question is
Do you respect all these people, regardless of their beliefs, they culture, they race?
Sometimes is difficult to respect some type of people, how to be more respectful?
Thanks for your answers.

I respect all types of people as long as they treat me the same way. My mother always used to say, "Never judge a book by it's cover" & I try very hard to live by those words. My mother also taught me to not only be respectful of others but to have manners. Most people today have not been taught such things as manners & respect or if they were they choose not live by those teachings. This I find to be very sad because I feel that if everyone were a little more respectful toward one another & showed manners toward the elderly or anyone really who could use a little help without having to ask for it first, then I feel this world would be a much better place to live in. Not just for myself & my loved ones, but for all people everywhere.

That's the problem. Most of the people don't have manners, so you could find them disrespectful. I may try to "coexist" with those people.

Of course i respect all kinds of people from all walks of life, young and old alike.
As for those people you can say rude or disrespectful, i just ignore their being so. Sometimes, in order not to get irritated with them, i simply distance myself from them. They sometimes would get into your nerves so better avoid them. I just don't look at them anymore, in order to maintain my respect for them.

That's what I'll try to do. Just ignoring that people who try to complain with you about anything. Thanks for your answer. It was really helpful.

Not everyone deserves our respect. A moral person certainly should be revered, but a person with no character deserves only contempt. It's true that we should not hold bias against others, but we should clearly know how to tell good people from bad ones. If someone says he/she respects everyone, then I should say he/she has no criteria of judging good from evil in his/her mind. Such a person has no subjectivity in doing other things, either. As independent individuals, everyone of us has his/her own values of regarding things.

I think we must respect each others, independently from how they treat you. I'm not saying you agree with those people, but to respect everyone is really important for us to live in peace.

Respect is not something you can just shower on someone. Respect needs to be earned. i have respwect for many different kinds of people in all walks of life. Just because you like someone does not mean you have to have respect for them too. @katie0 (5203)

i do, for twice i started to have a problem but i really gave a thought to that and it's gone. i put my self in their shoes when i really can understand a type of people, and when we do that it's clear that we probably would have the same customs and act like them in the same situation, i guess
