We should always try to take care of about general health. Limited food, limited works, limited metal pressure, limited fat in our body can keep our good general health. I think everybody should conscious about their health. If we do not able to keep our good health condition we will never satisfied with our valuable life. If we fell any uneasy we should immediately check up our health. Some times for minor disease we take different types of pills and capsule ourself that is more dangerous for our general health because do not know the exact dose , power, course and side effect of that particular pills. To keep my health I always try to take prescribed medicine from registered medical practitioner. I think everybody should do that to stay healthy.

Self medication is always dangerous, i and hubby have health problems, we always consult specialists depending upon the health problems we face, what ever medicine they prescribe we buy and always take the full course, after that we consult once more.
Best of luck.
Happy posting, cheers.

I take my health pretty seriously and I like to keep fit on a regular basis although at the present time I feel like a prisoner in my own home! I was involved in a cycling accident on 10th November last year and I dislocated my shoulder and I had major surgery which included the insertion of metal plates and screws, ouch! Anyway, as a result of that I have not been doing any kind of exercise other than seeing a physiotherapist every two weeks in order to restore movement back to my shoulder!
I love cycling and this is the activity I mainly get involved with. I'm looking forward to returning to the bike obviously and am counting down the hours you could say! Andrew

I am trying to look after my health as best as I can. I don't know why but I rarely got unwell and I have outstanding record on no sick leave on my work. If I do feel unwell I would take a drowsy paracetamol tablet (so I'll be drowsy and wanted to sleep) to start with and drink a lot of water and go to sleep early. Usually in the next morning I got up fresh and this sick feeling is gone. Before taking medicine I always read he instruction on taking dosage. Since I am 34 years old already I was already health concious and will be careful in eating foods. I don't like anything too sweet as my sugar level is high so I need to keep it down. By the way this discussion reminded me to take blood test for checking cholesterol level ans sugar level. I have not done this in two years so I better to do it soon.

Yes you are absolutely right. We need moderation in everything just to stay healthy. I try not to take medicine as long as I can. I try to treat my ailments with natural remedies. But then if things go beyond control I always see a doctor and take his advice. I am a very active man. I always want to do something, anything. I can't sit idle unless I am reading or writing something. So when I fall ill, I feel like my life is being wasted. I become quite impatient about it. I think we should be more moderate and careful in our lifestyles so that a disease can be prevented beforehand.

I agree, but we need to ask why some people don't look after their health in the first place. Perhaps it's being unsure what to do, having excuses like not having the time to exercise, or the money to spend on healthier foods, not liking themselves enough to believe they deserve to take time to look after themselves etc. Prevention is definitely the best way to go, and educating people on what they can do to be healthy is a great step in the right direction, but without looking at underlying reasons why people don't do these things then there will be a lot of people missing out. I opt for an 'everything in moderation' approach and keep up with the latest health news without taking it to extremes, because sometimes being health conscious can become obsessive and ruin the fun in the life.
