Is it easy for you to travel overseas?

I live in England and so during my teenage years I found mainland Europe on my doorstep. I those days I lived close to the ferries going over to France. I loved to pop over to France for the day or a long weekend. As I got older I wondered about the rest of the world. I really wanted to travel around the world. It is funny how my life went from the age 18 to 21 years old. I got a job in a ship brokers when I was 18 years old. Then at age 19 years old I bought a little cottage. Sadly I made made redundant when I was 20 years old. It was way too difficult to get another job. I let out my cottage, got a working holiday visa for Australia and bought an airline ticket for a job around the world. I spent just over one year on that fantastic trip. Now I am in my last thirties I have been able to visit lots more different places. Has it been easy for you to travel overseas? If yes where have you been able to travel to? If no why haven't you been able to travel overseas?

Life here in our country isn't that easy. You have to earn hard just to get you the basic commodities and you have to work even harder just to get what you want. But for the love of travel, I work hard and do find ways just to get around. Since life isn't that easy here, I was only able to travel around the region. I only have been to 9 countries and some of them I keep coming back.

Its a difficult thing to travel overseas since it involves lot of procedures for visa and other formalities are very critical things for overseas travel. Individually travelling to different countries is a hectic job. Working holdiday visa is a good option.

At the moment, I wouldn't say that it's easy for me to travel overseas. I have had the chance in the past to do so, but it might be a while before I get the chance to do it again. The main reason being the financial aspect. My husband just got out of university, and is still looking for work. While I'm finishing up my last semester. So, money is very tight. Our financial situation does not permit us to do much.

Noo. I am totally jealous of you. I wish I had been born in Europe somewhere. Like France or London or Ireland or Sweden or wherever pretty much. I hear a lot of people train from London to France just for fun, and when my sister was staying in Sweden - she got a lot of cheap flying tickets to Spain, Ireland, etc. Everything is so far away, living in the US. It takes 10 hours to get to Sweden (give or take) and about $900 for the flight. Now, everything would just be so much easier if I lived over there...I feel like I would be able to afford to see so much more. I mean, I suppose I can still go to places like California and Florida and Alaska and Hawaii and stuff in the US for a decent price, but anywhere besides that...Well, good luck. Ughhh

I would love to travel overseas. But so far life has not allowed my family and I to do so. My husband works full time and does not get long enough vacations. I am currently an online student and I do not get breaks from school like students that attend a campus get. Also I do not have a passport. My husband and I was going to get a passport last year but they are extremely expensive.
