Is your pet fussy?

My dogs are very fussy when about what they eat. They were eating top of the range food and enjoying it. Then I took them to the vets for a check up and annual vaccination. My dogs are having a powder on their food to help take away tar tar on their teeth. I do clean my dogs teeth. Secret is in very good health but Magic has a urine infection. She has had to go on a special diet but she doesn't like it. She ate it yesterday but today neither of my dogs will eat their dinner.
Is your pet fussy with his or her food?
What do you think I could do to get my dog Magic to eat her special diet?
How could I stop my dog Secret being jealous of her dinner?

KitKat - will only eat certain types of food, will not eat it if it isn't fresh or if the bowl is dirty.
I had a cat who had to go on that food for a urinary tract infection. He hated it. All the other cats had to go on it too, or he never would have eaten it. Not fun.
I'd say separate them, feed them, then pick the food up when they're done. Eventually they will get the message "eat it or don't eat"...
Good luck.

If you knew my puppies, especially Ciara, she will eat anything and everything, no fussy eaters here. But if your dogs are not eating, the best thing to use is some kind of meat grease. Like when you make a roast or bacon or something, just take a small spoonful of grease and unless they are really picky, I never seen a dog turn down meat fat. Just not too much, because it can also make them gain unwanted pounds.
