There's this story, a sick and down friend was visited by a friend, The latter was moved to tears as she sees her friend in a very bad state of health. Before she left, she secretly put a few bucks on the hands of the sick friend. Seeing the money on her hands, she cried and refuse to accept it telling she's not asking for some dole outs and still can fend for herself. Do you think the other friend had done wrong to her sick but still proud friend? Does she has to apologize to her sick friend?

She can apologize simply out of courtesy but not because she is to be made to feel as if she had done something wrong. I believe as humans we always feel that when someone is sick they cannot go out to work and will need monetary help to pay bills, medical expenses and or eat.
So no, she should not feel as if she did something wrong.

Its very painful. I seriously have no answer because friendship is something thats blessed by God. There are circumstances were we can't tell what's right or wrong, but at the end always hope for good things to happen.
