Really? an inmate often in torment by other inmates in jail?

hi, i just only watched this in the movie, but not yet seen in real, yes, those seniors tortured those newbies prisoner.

Yeah, I heard about that too and I think it's true. It's also depicted in some movies. The poor ones are those that were really innocent (but were charged guilty) and not tough people so the seniors bully them. It's really really sad. But I think it's only true in those big jails where criminals (or framed innocent people) that were charged with heavy crimes go. For small jails I don't think it happens very often. Really sad.
