There are always new anime shows every season airing in Japan. This makes us change our anime favorites frequently, in my opinion. At least, I do anyway. So, what are your current anime favorites and why do you like them? For me, my current favorites are Fairy Tail, mainly because of the awesome story of family and friendship and the fact that it reminds me so much of Groove Adventure RAVE (same authors), Angel Beats!, because of the complex mix of a deep plot and comedy, Card Captor Sakura because... well, I know it's old, like, mega old, but I'm currently rewatching the whole series, and I just can't forget my love for this show! Another is Starry Sky, because I love reverse-harem type shows.

With all the good comments it's been getting, I think that I really should start watching One Piece. Aside from Fairy Tail, it's one of the manga/anime series that my guy friends look forward to every week.

My most ultimate favorite anime in the whole wide world is INUYASHA! I've been watching that show every since it came out and I can finally draw them exactly the way they are. My favorite characters in the show are Inuyasha and Kagome. I've been rooting for them two for a very long time, and finally they got married! I'm pretty happy about it =D

I actually read the manga first before watching the anime, and I was happy that the anime stayed true to the manga's ending. Inuyasha has to be in my top favorites, though I find that they had waaaay too many enemies T_T. I usually prefer fast stories that don't overflow with conflicts.

I've watched the ending of that anime, and it's good. Too bad that kikiyo's gone. All the heroes become strong in the last episode especially Inushaya and his sword.

I haven't really been into any of the newer anime series lately. None of them seem to catch my interest so I've been watching older shows. At the moment I'm currently into Ghost Hunt. I just got back into this fandom so I'm refreshing my memory. And I'm actually watching Cardcaptor Sakura again too. I remember the show from years back and it's been forever since I've seen it but it was cute, one of my favorite magical girl shows. And finally, I'm still into One Piece. The story just gets more interesting as the series progresses.

What is Ghost Hunt about? It's the first time I've heard of it, and I'm interested. And true, not all of the new shows these days are actually at par with the amazing ones shown years ago. It's a shame to see the anime community becoming like this.

Ghost Hunt is about a group called SPR (Shibuya Psychic Research) and their various cases dealing with the paranormal. The main character, Mai, is roped into working for SPR when she accidently injures one of the members and breaks a camera. The group consist of the boss, Shibuya Kazuya (nicknamed "Naru" by Mai because she thinks he's a narcissist), his assistant Lin whose an onmyouji, Mai (the grunt but it turns out she has some psychic ability), Takigawa (the former monk), Akayo (claims to be a miko), John (a Catholic priest with a strange accent) and Masako (a medium). The series just follows the group and their various cases. There's a touch of comedy and drama in there so it's not all spooky.

Yay, finally someone who loves reverse harem shows too! You should give Ouran HSHC, La Corda D'Oro and Starry Sky a try, they're all very good reverse harems, albeit their pacing is a bit slow.

Ah, CCS was also a good series. The ending of the anime differed greatly from the manga, in aspects more than one. To be honest I prefer the anime ending, it was more dramatic and heartwarming. And yes, I'm thinking of trying out One Piece one of these days. So many episodes/chapters to catch up on though O_O.

My favorite anime is one piece, because... I love the story twist between the marines and the pirates. When they land into many different island, there is always a different experience of story for the crew. Strong enemys, stronger than the straw hat pirates. Every episode is exciting and funny to watch. This anime show the vulnerability of the characters where they really need a nakama's participation to accomplish a difficult task and situations. This anime is more in friendship and teamwork, and that's what I like about this anime.

One Piece always gets so many good comments that I'm really thinking of trying it out now. At first, like I said, the art turned me off, but no matter how bad the art, a good story can make up for it.

Currently I am watching Soul Eater through Netflix instant watch, which is a fun action show, I'm about halfway through the series at this point in time. I am also watching Kekkaishi on Adult Swim which has another 20 episodes or so until it concludes. And I'm watching Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt on Crunchyroll, the show just finished its season in December in Japan. All are more lighthearted as I haven't had time to really delve into a deeper anime, though I hope to return to Monster soon and finish it.

I'm about to borrow my friend's copies of Soul Eater, so hopefully I'll be able to watch it soon. I heard it was good. I really didn't like Pany and Stocking with Garterbelt much, so I didn't bother even taking a look at it.

Actually, I haven't watched any animes lately.. I can't really find any god ones that are interesting enough for me. People here have been talking about fairy tail too-I'm just so lazy to check it out. Can you recommend other animes about fantasy, romance, comedy??

I'd recommend Angel Beats! for that. It's short, has a nice plot, and a whole lot of drama and comedy as well. Fairy Tail is just awesome, you should definitely check it out.

I just recently watched an anime entitled SHIKI. It is a horror and suspense anime which is a bit bloody. It is about vampire stories but in a different level. There is no boring moments in this anime. I don't like horror or scary anime though, but I really like this anime.

Right now I´m watching two series: Kimi ni Todoke and Detective Conan. Kimi ni Todoke is new and I love it, and for Detective Conan it has been on air since LONG time ago and on but it is very good and has a good storyline.

I'm also watching Kimi ni Todoke season 2. It's such a great series, but Kazehaya and Sawako take too long to take their relationship to the next level. Which reminds me, my best friend just LOVES Detective Conan. She's up-to-date with all the episodes and has actually watched all the movies. She's so addicted to it.

I like to watch Naruto Shippuuden, Pokémon Best Wishes and Digimon Xros Wars. Naruto VS Pein battle was epic. Digimon Xros Wars began to be cool. Pokémon Best Wishes is kinda cool because I like the battles.

I'm currently into Fairy Tail this week i think it's because of the first movie. And I also watch One Piece and Naruto. i'm a girl but i really love shounen anime. it makes me so fired up!! anyways, they makes me so excited and happy with all the actions and the drama. before, i loved to watch and read shoujou(girl's manga) but later on, i managed to escape because of inferiority in my social life. whenever a guy approaches me, i could compare them to my all time favorite anime guy and i know that is bad. that's why i shifted. im sorry, i shared this wired story of mine. well, that's it.
