if we answer a post which is pretty old,will we still earn?

Hi,mylotters.I just answered a post,after i finished submitting it,i found it is an old post,which was started four month ago.
My question is when we answer posts,will the "age" of the original post influence our earning? In another word, how old is the post from which you can't earn? Or is there no difference with the old ones and new ones?

It makes no difference whether you respond to a new post or one that is five years old.
