I'm experiencing several emotional reactions to the shooting in Arizona, I thought I'd start this thread to share them, and to read those of anyone out there who care to reply.
Sorrow: Sorrow for the family and friends of the victims of this cold hearted person.
Anger: I'm angry that someone would kill people in cold blood.
Anger: I'm angry at people who would use this (or any) such act to further their own political agenda. To me they are just hiding behind the bodies, glad the opportunity presented itself to them.
Proud: Proud that there are people in this world who risked their lives to fight back and end the killing.
Sorrow: Sorrow that the heroes were put in that position.
Pride: I'm proud to be part of a nation where this kind of political violence is the exception. There are so many countries where people expect this to happen because it's "just the way it is".
Fear: I fear that someday the US will be that kind nation.
Proud: I'm proud that I live in a country where people are willing to not just "reach across the aisle", but ignore the aisle completely at times like this.
There's my list.. feel free to add to it.

People can't win it politically, so they go for the extreme action. They thought that kill a particular person can end everything, and everything will be okay. They never understood their spirit and their preaching will spread out further, and longer. They simply misjudge the effect of such martyr act. Shooting or assassination simply a stupid move.
