Refrigerate Coffee?

I love my coffee, especially in the morning when I am writing. I have tried grinding it for a while but it seemed like too much trouble and I couldn't really tell the difference except for the fragrance that would fill the kitchen. But I also heard the if you really want to keep your coffee grounds fresh, keep it in the refrigerator. I usually kept it in the pantry, in its container.
Is it true? Does it really make a difference? I can't tell myself. What do you think? Maybe that only works for freshly ground coffee.
What do you think?

I have always kept our ground coffee in the refrigerator. That is what my parents always did, so I just adopted that same habit! I honestly don't know if it makes a difference in how it tastes or not but I have heard people say that it does.

I guess it's worth a try. As much as I enjoy my coffee, I don't have a very discriminating pallet and so I may not notice the difference either way. Makes sense though. Thanks for your reply!
