What would Your last words be?

A few months back I saw on the news where a man in Arizona, who was sentenced to die in prison, said "boomer sooner" as his last words. Being a life long sooner fan I thought it was cool. I mean the guy could of held resentment for his punishment and something negative or foul, in which case I probably never would have heard about it, but he didn't. If you knew you only had a couple minutes left in your life what would you say? What would be your last phrase? Boomer Sooner!

When I'm breathing my last there will be no-one around me, save, I hope, a nurse. If there is a nurse around me I will say: "Well, it was a life, but such a small one." I live by myself, have no friends or family around me, and am 71 years of age already. I only get out of doors if a neigbour takes me up the street when she's shopping, but then I have to say in the car because I can barely walk. Yes, it is a very small life. My only outlet is to write to you nice people, and write a few articles for Triond. Whether I'd actually speak those last words, I don't know. They sound very self-pitying, don't they?

This response made me very sad. It hurts me to think there is no one around that cares. Life isn't that long and you shouldn't be alone. Thanks for sharing with us, have you ever thought about joining a club for people your age? They would probably help you to participate in events. My prayers will be with you.

Cool, very optimistic! Does this mean you believe in reincarnation?

Not reincarnation, but I do believe we go on to a spirit world after this life.

I would want my last words to be saying goodbye to my family and friends rather than saying a sports phrase. And personally, if I had been a team member or fan I wouldn't want a convicted criminal being a fan...I dunno. Im touchy about criminals and so that probably came out rude. It wasn't meant to be.

Hi, In such a circumstances I would rather devout my remaining time writing few lines of poetry or a diary that would contain the feeling of a person who was soon going to die.
