I have a new short term goal.

I found the scrap booking pens that I want. They are 60.00. That is my short term goal. Using my survey money, I would like to reach that goal by the end of February. I think that is possible, because I will be receiving a cashout here on the 15th, and I have requested checks from a few other places and should have them before my goal date. This new goal, instead of a generic one has me motivated again.

That's a great goal--short-term, realistically attainable goals are always better motivators than long-term difficult ones. Plus, as a fellow-scrapbooker, I personally think it's a great goal to have! Being able to subsidize a hobby is always worthwhile. Good luck!

I decided to tackle all the pictures and memorabilia from my husband's years as a boy and eagle scout. That is my next big project. The blues and golds will be really nice to have for this project.

That is a beautiful project, one that I am sure he will cherish. My boys are in scouts and I plan to do the same for them. Have to finish their baby albums first--and several in between!

Met my goal and have the pens. Now I have an almost impossible goal for the long term. Using sites like this along with budget modification and probably a summer job to save close to $8000 dollars so my husband and I can take a trip to Italy and Greece.
