What action should be taken to protect our lawmakers and keep them safe?

I agree, If I say or do something and somebody gets upset. If I am stalked or threatened, I have to handle this on my own.

Not really. Part of their job is to meet with their voters. It is a shame because other politicans are going to think twice before doing a meet and greet anytime soon. I can't say I blame them. This was absolutely horrible.
