english teaching in vietnam

am planning to move to vietnam ho chi minh city and settle there but i dont know a way to make money there.. a friend told me teaching english in schools is a good way foreigners make money there. roughly how much can i make per hour and how easy is it to get such a job,, also are there any qualifications reguired?

Ho Chi Minh City is a beautiful city. People are very friendly. I have been there once, and very much enjoyed staying there. Yes, I think there will be very good opportunities for working as an English language teacher, right in the city and also in the region around.

thanks for that info. how much can i expect to be paid per hour. i have heard its a very beautiful city and have some vietnamese friends online and i know they are great and friendly people. though the temperature there scares me -- am used to highest 30 degrees, i hear it reaches 40 in HCM
